And:
Diamondbacks +105 vs Dodgers (Intertops) -- Seems fairly even, so
I'll look at the home team as a dog.
Angels -138 vs Red Sox (Intertops) -- Seems steep to take this big
a favorite against one of the best teams in baseball. But the fact
is, the Red Sox are a losing team on the road (21-29) and Anaheim has
the far superior starting pitcher here. Right/left splits also favor
the Angels a bit.
Mariners -134 vs Indians (Intertops) -- Also not many spots to take
Seattle as any kind of significant favorite. To do it, it would have
to be against a lefty because the only thing Seattle does as a team is
hit lefties VERY hard. It would have to be at home, with against a
lefty with bad road numbers (Laffey 5.76 road ERA, 1.62 road WHIP).
It would ahve to be against a team with a very poor road record
(Cleveland 15-31 away from home). And it would have to be with King
Felix, the Mariners' only consistent starting pitcher on the mound.
The stars aligned and all those factors are in play so I can justify
laying the wood here.
