Step 2 of a Party Poker Steps tournament... 19 players left.
Blinds 15/30. I have 800 chips.
Folded to me in the cutoff. I have A3s. I try for a semibluff steal raise
to 100. SB min reraises to 170. BB folds so it's 70 to call (I know I'm
behind but he didn't reraise enough to knock me out preflop).
Flop comes Ah5s2s - I flopped a monster. Top pair with a gutshot, flush,
and two pair draw. SB bets 150. I reraise all in... He has about 1500
chips.. If he calls he still has 800 or so.
He thinks... and thinks... I say 'KK'? He says: 'Am I supposed to fold KK
now?' and calls. I double up...
He then starts to abuse me and says 'How can you raise with A3?' etc. and
'You suck' etc. I said his flop call was far worse than my preflop
call....
He replies: 'No it wasn't. Pot odds.'
to which everyone laughed... He then goes all in preflop on the next hand
for all his chips with A9 and gets busted...
