To All Those That Helped:
A certain normalacy has returned to my game.
While still in the hole (-$78) for the period Oct 4, 04 to Dec. 7, 04,
it's a far cry from my previous level (-$654).
I realize that I'm on a rush for the last 5 sessions (about 20 hours or
so) but I'm also playing a more tight aggressive game. Maybe not
aggressive enough for some, but it works for me.
For 3/6 limit, how can I complain?
I have positive feelings about my game. No more Mr. River monster
thoughts. Heck, I even managed to say "nice hand" to a guy who called two+
bets cold in the SB, with 52 off and proceeded to beat my LP PP K's with a
Q, 5, 9 rainbow flop. It was 2 bets to him on the flop, he called cold!
Turn was a 2 and the rest is history. Yowza. I did bust him out an hour or
so later.(hehe)
When the cards turn cold again, and we all know that they can, I will
recognize it earlier and slow down or move down. Big difference between
cold cards and poor play. Combined, they're deadly.
Any way, thanks for all the help with my "re-build" and kind words. Hope
the holiday season brings great joy to you and yours.
