This has been brought up before, but it is interesting to hear peoples
theories on how this is going to work. I have some thoughts. First place
is 9 million + and the endorsements for #1 will be higher than ANY other
position. The second place guy will probably get some endorsements and
the entire table will no doubt get some endorsements, but the best way to
cash in BIGTIME on this whole circus is to finish FIRST.

Some people have stated that people will be working on their routines and
or picking out wardrobes etc. IMHO if the 9 that are there DONOT study
the HELL out of the tape leading up to the final table they should be
ridiculed beyond belief. Mind you I am NOT saying that they be ridiculed
for simply losing, but if in the after bust out interview they say
something like 'yeah well its ok I STILL made alot of money and didn't
really study the players during the break' or they say something like
'yeah I didn't study the tape and didn't really even play poker during the
break' That is when they should get slammed.

They have a GREAT op****tunity to take first and make a LOAD of money. 9
million + endorsements for number one with all the hype surrounding this.
Endorsements do not even come close to the 9 million for first IMO. I
have nothing to back that up, but I will say that the 9 million they make
from taking first will trump any endorsements they may make. I may be
wrong here, but who knows. EITHER way taking first is the way to go. NOT
studying would be like getting offered the chance to pick a number from
1-9 and if you get the number you win 9 million and you decide to say no
thanks.
