I don't see any reason why you'd be more embarrassed by (using just
one example)a tampon commercial than a toilet paper commercial. Why
are my vaginal/uterine/ovarian functions and your ***** functions (or
lack of them, heh) more offensive than our asshole functions?
As for the ***-related products, just explain it to the kids. They
won't be scarred for life if they learn about *** and *** products. My
mom raised us four kids with honesty and openness about ***. She
answered all questions we asked with the attitude that *** is a
healthy, normal appetite, and just another bodily function we all deal
with, like menstruation and bowel movements. They're all just
biological functions.
This society's embarrassment and shame about *** and menstruation has
always amused me.
