Jim Cramer discussing this [unconfirmed] Reuters re****t that Fed
Chairman Ben Bernanke will open the discount window to both of the
mortgage giants.
According to Mr. Cramer, (a prominent and unabashed Democrat),
somebody =93got to=94 President Bush in the last 12 hours and [apparently]
convinced him that if Freddie and Fannie go under, then he [Bush] will
go down in history as the 21st century=92s Herbert Hoover =96 a legacy
which Mr. Bush doesn=92t seem to care for =96 so our President has
=93changed his mind=94 according to Mr. Cramer.
This is now proof positive that we live in the Socialist States of
America. If you=92re a small businessman and you screw up, =93Tough,=94 =
=96
you=92ve lost everything. If you=92re =93too big to fail,=94 don=92t
worry=
=96
you get bailed out.
The folks at the Bureau of Printing & Engraving are probably already
ordering new money printing machines. Get ready for an onslaught of
runaway inflation.
