(With all apologies to Neil Peart)
Calling with a hand that's pretty ****y,
Calls they can't afford, or
A hand that's missed the board, or
Cards that can't stand a fight and
Should be left alone.
Donking off, their 'coin' is so one-sided,
The poker god's decided,
The pot won't be divided,
The player that they collided
Shall drag the pot alone
Nowhere is the donk so bad,
As when, broke, he heads on home.
Donk-decisions -
In the poker halls, they make such bad calls
Then hope to hit their sole out
Donk-decision
In the corner bars, they push luck too far
Then they pray to suck out.
The only escape, an awful truth,
is likely not in view
The cards don't bring outs to soothe
The donkish hopes of fools.
<keyboard solo>
Across green cloth, they settle for the tourney
A big cash prize attraction
Chasing wild play action
Though a bad play may make them cry
As they leave the field tonight.
And some will call their chips for mad desires
And fall in better's traps
And drown down with the rats
And leave, to dream of the magic few
cards that win tonight
Somewhere that's luck, skill free
Where golden cards heal bad-call plights.
Donk-decisions -
In the poker halls, they make such bad calls
Then hope to hit their sole out
Donk-decision
In the corner bars, they push luck too far
Then they pray to suck out.

The only escape, an awful truth,
is likely not in view
The cards don't bring outs to soothe
The donkish hopes of fools
