Given the slow sales of my book as I wait for people to realize that the
strategies in it really can wipe out a table, I am working on a new one.
It's called, "1001 Poker Excuses."
Please help me get to 1001.
"I had the button."
"It was suited."
"I was in the blind."
"It's my favorite hand."
"I had a feeling."
"I was bored."
"[insert card rank here] have been running hot lately."
"The last three times I folded this hand it would have won every time."
"I always play name hands."
"I was trying to lose so I could go home."
"I misread my hand."
"I didn't look."
"The time was right."
"I saw [insert player name] win with this hand just an hour ago."
"I thought we were playing low."
Hey, the reasoning here is just as fallacious as what many of you are
using
to play the game anyway!
(If this statment makes you mad, I probably mean you.)
