One Tough Table ...

by "lawhonac@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <lawhonac@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 3, 2008 at 01:43 PM

I practice single table Sit-n-Go type games versus Wilson Software's
TTH (Turbo Texas Hold'em - V5) tournament software. I usually play
versus nine computer opponents with the level of competition set to
"tough". The speed of the simulation is set at 10 hands per level.
Each player starts with $5,000 tournament chips.

In most of these games, you can count on at least one player going out
in the first level, another in the second level (and so on) until it's
down to five or six players by Level 6. Not this time ...

I'm playing a game right now where the first player didn't go out
until the 51st hand - in Level 6! (I'm currently in 2nd place.) I
haven't played any poker (yet) on the internet, but I wonder how often
you see [real money] single-table Sit-n-Go's on Pokerstars or Bodog
where all ten players are still in the game after the 50th hand?

This is one tough table.
