We speak of drilling for oil, and bringing down prices. We speak of burning
our corn to allow our cars to run a little bit cleaner.
How smart do we have to be to keep ourselves alive in a world where you
can'
t own a home or it will be blown away by the forces of fate?
Why be not as smart as we can be?
Will a leader arise, whose voice will be heard and whose will will be
done?
Why burn anything at all? Why even consider it? What is the absolute most
efficient, environmentally friendly method of supplying power?
The answer is solar.
It's a resource that doesn't have to be renewed and isn't close to running
out. Wind power affects birds, and hydroelectric affects fish and other
river resources im****tant to our own survival. Let's not even talk about
coal or some other chemical-reaction dependent method of combustion that
invariably pops off some form of carbon molecule that subsequently turns
out
to be harmful or damaging to life in some unforeseen manner.
Since sun power never runs out, and since it's the absolute cleanest
source
of energy that we know of anyway, all with the least environmental impact
of
any of the alternatives, it seems to me that we should be pu****ng solar,
solar, solar, and nothing but solar. We're insane to consider anything but
solar or to go in any other direction than solar, and I don't see any real
reason to delay a conscious conversion to solar-only technology, and just
phase out everything else.
Let's run this planet as if we know how one works.
Why are we wasting any time at all in making the choice now that we're
probably going to end out making anyway?
