Linda A. Belben of Ludlow is the 40th player to win $1 million instantly
playing the Billion Dollar Blockbuster from the Massachusetts State
Lottery.
Belben, received her first of 20 annuity checks for $50,000 before taxes
today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree. Belben, who works in
Springfield
as a recruiting manager, said she plans on investing most of her winnings.
She bought the lucky ticket at Pride Stations and Stores on Burnett Road
in
Chicopee. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
Billion Dollar Blockbuster, the biggest game ever by an American lottery,
features 130 instant prizes of $1 million and another 10 instant prizes of
$10 million. One lucky player will win $1 million a year for their life.

Michael J. Lemaire of Taunton became the latest Lottery millionaire
when he won $1 million playing Billion Dollar Blockbuster from the
Massachusetts State Lottery.
Lemaire, a father of three, said he will use the money to help pay
off student loans. He received his first of 20 annuity checks for
$50,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.
He bought the winning ticket from Nap's Package Store near his
workplace in Attleboro,Ma. The store will receive a $10,000
commission on the sale.
